I began working with puppets soon after I came to know the Lord in 1974, while serving in the US Army, stationed in GermanyOn my return to
the States, I attended a Bible College in Southern California. Many opportunities came about during that time including ministering in Christian schools, volunteering in a Children's Hospital, and participating with two
Children's TV programs.
As missionaries in Mexico for 11 years, the ministry opened many doors including public schools, churches, parks and city events. It was in Mexico that I began the Seminar ministry
as well, seeing the need to share this type of outreach with others.
The combination of doing presentations and giving seminars not only took me around the country of Mexico but also to other countries including Cuba,
Belize, Canada (with Chinese kids!), Honduras and a special trip to Tokyo, Japan.
After we finished our ministry in Mexico, we settled in Redding, California where the opportunities continued in schools and with
churches. There was even an opportunity to do a presentation for the local police, their families and community during the National Police Week.
Then back to the mission field. This time to the South American country
of Ecuador. Once again, the doors opened to public schools and city events, churches and a radio program that was broadcast live with one of the puppets being the principle character. The time in Ecuador also provided
the opportunity to minister in the countries of Peru and Colombia and a return trip to Cuba.
Now residing in Camp Verde, Arizona and pastoring Calvary Chapel of Camp Verde, I look forward to presenting the love of God
through puppetry wherever I am allowed and when possible, of teaching others this wonderful ministry of putting smiles on faces.
